Awel Aman Tawe is one of the UK’s most successful community energy organisations.

For nearly three decades we have been demonstrating how communities can tackle climate change, create local jobs, reduce fuel poverty and generate lasting social change through community ownership, co-operative approaches and innovation.

Today we are entering an exciting new phase. Following the opening of Hwb y Gors, our flagship low-carbon community hub, we are looking for an ambitious Communications Manager to help us share our story with wider audiences and establish AAT as a nationally recognised voice for practical climate solutions.

You’ll help shape public understanding of what community-led climate action can achieve. You’ll uncover inspiring human stories, build relationships with journalists and partners, create engaging campaigns and ensure the impact of our work reaches communities, funders, policymakers and supporters. We’re looking for someone who combines excellent communications skills with creativity, strategic thinking and a passion for making a difference.
