Eira is an arts enthusiast who enjoys exploring her own creative practice and facilitating creativity in others. Having grown up in the Amman Valley and attended Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera, she went on to study Illustration and Animation at Kingston University in London.
Since graduating, Eira has been involved in a range of creative and environmental projects, including a personal adventure travelling from Cymru to Canada without flying. She has been involved in projects with Awel Aman Tawe over the years and after returning from Canada last year, Eira became Hwb y Gors’ first Artist in Residence. Having found a home at the Hwb, she has since stayed on as Arts Officer, helping to establish the Artist in Residence programme and develop other creative opportunities that bring people together through the arts. She is a Welsh speaker.
