Kerry and Lucy – our energy advisors – are busy every week meeting members of the community in person in many local hubs in the Upper Amman and Upper Swansea Valley.  Their drop in help desks are a way to directly help people who are in fuel poverty or struggling with the complexities of saving energy in the home and becoming more sustainable. Just this month they’ve helped households with grant applications, issued Fuel Vouchers, helped in the homes of those with failed central heating systems, explained smart meters and examined energy bill issues. They’ve visited events in Gwaun cae Gurwen, Tairgwaith, Cwmgors and Upper Brynamman and will continue weekly and one off events into the future.
